We are dedicated to providing Black women the support, access, and resources to obtain optimum success in the Social Work field. One goal for many of our members is obtaining Social Work licensure. Many Social Workers discuss studying for the exam. Thousands worry and stress about passing or failing. Not often do we talk about the financial costs of pursuing the ASWB licensure and how this may impact those experiencing financial hardships. The monetary responsibility attached to applying and completing the process for the Social Work license can be a barrier for many. During Social Work Month 2021, we decided to raise funds through our ADAV campaign to afford BGSW members pursuing licensure and unable to afford the expenses with the opportunity to have their exam fees covered with the help of our donors!

We are now accepting donations to prepare for the opening of our 2023 application!
